The big question everybody needs to know is how much will it cost? No it wont be cheap but spread the cost over the rest of your driving career and you will see its less than you think. Also bear in mind the possibilities it opens up in your chosen career.
Our Charges:
A 2 hour introductory lesson: £35 (this is worth doing before you splash out large amounts to make sure you will get on with the car and your instructor. It also lets us assess how many hours you should need if doing an intensive course
Hourly Lessons: from £23
Pass Plus courses (6 hours) £150
We also offer discount for pre payment. Talk to your instructor on the day.
Intensive course costs
40 hours £900 including fee for one attempt at driving test and use of school car on day of test
30 hours £700 including fee for one attempt at driving test and use of school car on day of test
20 hours £500 including fee for one attempt at driving test and use of school car on day of test
10 hours £300 including fee for one attempt at driving test and use of school car on day of test
All intensive courses require a non-refundable deposit equal to 25% of total course payable on booking. The balance payable 14 days before start of course. All block lessons and intensive courses paid in advance must be used within 6 months. Any outstanding lessons are non refundable.
Fees for theory tests are not included in above.
How many hours will i need.
This depends on your experience so will try to guide you below. Be honest with yourself.
I have never driven a car before and have little or no other road experience (ie moped, motorcycle) You may need about 40 hours.
I have never driven a car but have some road experience. You should need less so around 30 hours should be plenty.
I have limited/ never driven a car before but lots of road experience. Around 20 hours should be enough.
Have had lots of lessons or have failed driving test so just need to boost confidence and gain some experience. Around 10 hours should be enough.
These are only a guide we are all different.
